Some of our crutch using customers are very active and take part in sponsored walks whilst others are full weight bearing such as an amputee (and some are both!). Feedback suggested the need for a bellows with increased and longer life compression resistance and so we have recently introduced the Flexyfoot Replacemmnt Extra Sport foot that has grey rubber rings around the bellows. These have been tested by some of our long standing customers including Steve, who is an amputee and walks 10 miles a day and Simon Baker who holds the Guiness Book of Records for the fastest marathon a crutches. He is currently in training to walk from Dublin to Limerick in August for charity and uses Flexyfoot.
