What is Disabled VAT Relief?
VAT relief means disabled and chronically ill people are exempt from paying VAT on items purchased. This means they pay 0% VAT and therefore save money.
Who is eligible for VAT relief?
To be eligible for VAT relief the government state you have to fit the following criteria:
Charities: Simply provide your charity number.
A person is ‘chronically sick or disabled’ if he/she is a person:
- With a physical or mental impairment which has a long-term and substantial adverse effect upon his/her ability to carry out everyday activities; with a condition which the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness, such as diabetes; or
- Who is terminally ill.
Important Note: It does NOT include a frail elderly person who is otherwise able-bodied or any person who is only temporarily disabled or incapacitated, such as with a broken limb.
The black Flexyfoot Replacement Crutch Foot is a cheaper alternative to buying a whole new ferrule should your existing one become worn or broken. The replacement foot screws easily into the collar - the part of the Flexyfoot already attached to your crutch - for many years of reliable service.

These tips are of very good quality and are reassuring by their adhesions on wet floors. Cheap and durable, I strongly advise people using crutches to invest for their safety in this type of tips
These are the second lot of Flexifoot ferrules I've had over a number of years. The ferrules not only reduce shock through the shoulder but provide superb stability. The ferrule flexes so that the full point of contact remains even when the crutch is used at an angle (like to prevent a fall). A good buy!
These Ferrals are great they don’t slip as the go down flat on the floor.
These are a superb little invention. The wife needs a stick (uses the flexyfoot one) and she's really noticed a difference since using one. The flex is brilliant for surfaces like cobbles and other uneven ground. The replacement ferrules are an absolute doddle to fit. Very much worth the money compared to a standard ferrule.
