This black Flexyfoot Shock Absorbing Urban Hiking Pole is an ideal walking aid for active, sporty people that enjoy exercising but require a little support when doing so. It has a number of features that benefit the user when out and about providing real confidence and independence.
The handle is made of breathable cork that keeps the hand cool while the moulded, shaped design offers the user a range of different grip options to best suit their particular requirements.
Furthermore, the hiking pole is equipped with the revolutionary, uniquely designed Flexyfoot ferrule. The ferrule has flexible bellows that absorb shock when contact is made with a surface dramatically minimising discomfort in the arm and upper body.
Additionally, the hardwearing foot tread offers up to 50% more grip than a traditional ferrule and remains fully in contact with the ground at all times ensuring maximum traction.
The hiking pole is fully height adjustable allowing the individual to choose the perfect height for their needs.

Ordered this to use as a walking stick for long days out. Small print on the side of the stick says it not a walking stick. They do a walking stick version with the push button adjustment on the side of the stick. Decided to keep this as a can walk without be a walking stick, I just need a little Extra help when keeping up a good pace and easing some pressure on my knee cased by limping due to a bad knee. Did 17000 steps on a day out, keeping up with everyone. The last time I did this many steps involved lots of pain relief for the day an the next two weeks to recover. The main reason for this purchase was for the cork handle to which away moisture. No blisters after a full days use. Not sure if it's any good for hiking, but for long walks on tarmac I think this is ideal Don't think you should use as support on stairs as the twist lock mechanism are not as safe as the button lock mechanism. So when I am on the stairs I use the bannister or hand rail for support.
